Although swimming and water contact is not permitted at Lake Chabot, due to the presence of Blue-green algae in the lake it is recommended that visitors avoid all skin contact with lake water; supervise your children and pets, especially dogs, at all times to keep them away from the water; and if your skin touches the water, rinse with tap water. Enjoy our lake and stay safe.

Davis Roche (Sunnyvale), 26, the USATF 10 kilometer Trail Champion, won in 1:17:15, a course record.  Lon Freeman (Kensington), 40, placed second in 1:27.03.  Megan (Deakins) Roche (Sunnyvale), 24, the first female and the women's USATF 10 kilometer Trail Champion, was third in 1:31.46, a course record for women.
