"Located on the beautiful San Francisco Bay, Baylands Park provides over seventy acres of developed parkland offering active recreation, pathways and picnic areas for families and large groups. Baylands Park has a Naturalist theme which is enhanced by the many acres of native grasses, open meadows and wonderful vistas. An additional 105 acres of seasonal wetlands is protected as a Wetlands Preserve providing habitat for plants and wildlife. Redshirt junior David Perry (Niwot HS, Niwot, Colorado; Portland), 4A 2-mile State Champion (2010), won the 8k in 23:25.4 (4:43 per mile). Scott Fauble (Wheat Ridge HS 2010; Portland), a multiple time All-American, All-Region, All-Conference selection in cross country and track, placed second in 23:26.1 (4:43). Jonathan Nelson (Timpview HS, Provo, Utah; BYU) showed third in 23:27.6 (4:44).

Portland edged BYU by 3 points--28 to 31. Gonzaga was third with 109.
