Two members of the 1996 U.S. Olympic Team were at the meet: Kim Graham-Miller (400 meters and 4x400 meters) and Eugene Swift (110 meter high hurdles). Graham-Miller is an assistant coach at U.C. Davis. She coached at Virginia and Duke. Graham is married to Wm. Jahmal Miller, a Kaiser hospital administrator in Sacramento. Swift (Berkeley HS; Merritt College, Oakland) has worked at UPS in Richmond for 26 years. His daughter Elyse Swift (Pacific United; Arlene Hein Elementary School, Elk Grove), who was born on July 7, 2002, placed second in heat 5 of the 55 meters in 8.97. This was her first track meet.
