USA Track & Field inside Super Bowl Village
USA Track & Field will become a part of Super Bowl XLVI today when it takes part in Super Sports Day in the Super Bowl Village in downtown Indianapolis from 3-10 p.m. Approached by the Super Bowl Committee to participate in the program, USATF’s presence will include an interactive booth featuring sprint drills, hurdle demonstrations, giveaways and information on membership programs.
Taking place along Georgia Street between Pennsylvania Street and Capitol Avenue in downtown Indianapolis, the Super Bowl Village takes place the 10 days before Sunday’s game to include, among other things, live broadcasts from ESPN and live onstage entertainment. USATF’s booth will be set up on the turf underneath the zip line in Touchdown Alley along Capitol Avenue.

Team USA coaching staff announced for World Indoor Championships
USA Track & Field recently announced the names of the staff that will accompany Team USA to the upcoming World Indoor Championships March 9-11 in Istanbul, Turkey.
Rhan Sheffield, who will be the women’s team head coach along with coaching sprints and hurdles, is the lone representative from the team staff that also traveled to the 2010 World Indoor Championships, where Team USA won the medal table with a total of 17 medals.

Moore wins 800m to help Team USA at Five Nations Match
Team USA picked up an event win from Erica Moore in the women’s 800m en route to placing fifth overall Saturday at the Five Nations Match in Glasgow, Scotland. Team USA scored 41 points to finish behind Great Britain & N.I. (60), Russia (53), Germany (53) and Commonwealth Select (47).
Moore ran a time of 2:02.86 to pace the team.
The Five Nations Match is a unique competition between countries where one member from each team competes in select events and the winner is determined by total points.
Team USA also grabbed runner-up finishes from Dexter Faulk in the men’s 60m hurdles, Natasha Hastings in the women’s 400m and Andra Manson in the men’s high jump.
