Millennial Research Study
Update
Running
USA and RacePartner are conducting a research study to find
out why so many Millennials (born 1980-2000) get involved in running, and what
organized running events can do to keep them interested and engaged.
Nearly
42 million Americans are considered runners today, with 25- to 34-year-olds
representing the largest age group.* Will these fitness-conscious Millennials
follow in their forerunners' footsteps and drop out of the race at 35? Or are
they already defining a watershed time in the running industry? Read More

Help
Strengthen the Sport
Running
USA has a strong history of supporting other non-profit running entities and
this year's fundraising effort adopts a grassroots approach open to donors at
all funding levels. We're asking anyone who loves runners and the sport of
running to join us in supporting this great cause.
USA
Track and Field made a generous donation of $25,000 already and we're aiming to
hit $50,000 before it's all said and done!

The News
The
following news outlets have cited Running USA:
"In the U.S., some 51 million people run
at least once a year and 29 million log more than 50 days a year, according to
an annual
survey by Running
USA."
"Not only is it the largest race in the city

in the United States, according to Running USA."
"According to Running USA, a
record 541,000 people finished marathons in 2013, the most recent year for which

The numbers don't account for runners who finish more than one
marathon."

females."
"With a stellar team of developers and
