BERKELEY, Calif. - BERKELEY, Calif. - Utah State's men's and women's track and field teams fared well this weekend at the University of California-hosted Brutus Hamilton Open & Challenge by recording six top-three finishes and one event title winner. "Coming into this meet we wanted to solidify ourselves and get better for the upcoming conference championships, and I feel like we did that," said USU head coach Gregg Gensel. Bluth, a junior, captured third in the 200m (20.98) and junior Kevin Allen finished second in the discus (54.76m/179-08).
