Ryan Franklin Whorley passed away July 13, 2013 at the age of 19. Ryan was born Oct. 23,1993 in Fairfield, resided in Vacaville and graduated from Vacaville High in 2011. Ryan was on a path to fulfill his career goal of attending Lineman School in the fall. Ryan lived life to the fullest and from the age of five, his passion was dirt biking and making people laugh.
Ryan is survived by his parents, Frank and Lisa Whorley; brother, Christopher and sister-in-law, Yazmin, and brother, Patrick. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, LindaRae and Christopher Mullen; paternal grandparents, Alice and Frank Whorley; aunt Laurie; uncle George; aunt Sissy; uncle Shlomo; aunt Donna, and cousins, George, Eddie, Austin, Ethan, Evan, Aaron and Nolan.
Funeral service will be held on July 20, at St. Joseph's Church,1791 Marshall Rd., Vacaville at 12:30 p.m., with a reception to follow in the hall. Ryan will be laid to rest on July 23, at the Sacramento Valley National Veterans Cemetery in Dixon. A private gathering will be held following the burial.
