American athletes compete in Lignano

A large group of U.S. athletes competed Tuesday at the Meeting Sport Solidarieta in Lignano, Italy. A complete list of results from Lignano can be found here.
American athletes picked up a total of nine first place finishes that included Elijah Greer in the men’s 800m (1:46.38), Omoghan Osaghae in the men’s 100m hurdles (13.47), Jeff Henderson in the men’s long jump (7.86m/25-9.5), Shalonda Solomon in the women’s 100m (11.15), Heather Kampf in the women’s 800m (2:00.04), Kellie Wells in the women’s 100m hurdles (12.85), Funmi Jimoh in the women’s long jump (6.44m/21-1.5), Ben Blakenship in the men’s 1500m (3:37.03) and Kate Grace in the women’s 1500m (4:07.40).
