Junior Dixon Farmer (Miramonte, Orinda) won three events: 440 yards, 180 yard low hurdles, and the broad jump.  He does the on-field interviews with some of the winners of the State Meet.

Dennis Boyle, 71, is a USATF Official, who lives in Palo Cedro.

John Northway ran for Stanford and was an architect.  Our Abraham Lincoln High School distance medley team ran against his Palo Alto team in 1958 at the El Cerrito Relays.

Dave Weill went to Stanford and was an Olympic discus thrower.

The Berkeley team was coached by Rich Hacker, who later became a very successful realtor.

There was no girls track team in those days.
