Thank you to all who braved the heat to attend the first meet of the 2015 YSTFC Summer Championship Vault Series. We had a total of 33 vaulters spanning all divisions and abilities. A special recognition to four vaulters who PR’d during the meet. Join me in congratulating Brook Lemke who jumped 6’10 ½”, Nicole Sainz who jumped 8’4¼” Isaballa Debruin who jumped 11’ 9¾” and lastly, Theresa Kroll who finished out the day at 13’ 9 ½”. The biggest PR medal goes to Isabella Debruin who increased her PR by 5 ¼’. Isabella can pick up her PR medal at the next meet.
As a quick announcement, the next meet will be a Davis Sr. High School on 7/11/2015. We will run two sections with the first section starting at 11AM. Opening height will be set no lower than 6 feet and will increment to 7 feet and then by 6 inch increments. The second section will start no earlier than 1PM with the opening height set at 11’ incrementing by 6 inches. If you plan on opening at or higher than 11’ you are welcome to show up at a later time so you don’t have to wait around. Remember, the second section will start no earlier than 1PM but most likely after that.
