Industry News

The story that led to the Pikes Peak Marathon's new logo began with the mountain itself, the magical sky scraping peak that marks the end of the Great Plains and the beginning of the Rocky Mountains.

imATHLETE, a sports registration company that is changing the way event organizers engage with athletes, and PEAR Sports, the leader in interactive audio-based training, have announced an exclusive partnership for event training and race day coaching that combines PEAR's mobile platform with world class coaches to create a one-of-a-kind athlete experience.

The Wine Country Half Marathon Series, sponsored by Newton Running and produced by Destination Races, kicks off its 2015 season Mother's Day weekend in Santa Barbara on Saturday, May 9, 2015.
Running USA In The News
The following news outlets have cited Running USA:

The number of marathon finishers in the U.S. climbed to an all-time high of 550,637 last year, according to the trade organization Running USA. Half-marathon finishers topped 2 million and have more than tripled since 2005.

No es de sorprenderse, entonces, que el número de carreras de una milla se haya duplicado a lo largo de la última década, de acuerdo con la organización Running USA.

Running USA, which keeps statics on U.S. races, last updated their listings in 2013, so I used that information since almost all timed U.S. races report to them.

According to Running USA, females in 2013 accounted for a record 10.8 million finishers nationwide.
