The Color Run Founder and CEO Travis Snyder to Keynote at The Next Evolution presented by Events.com

We're pleased to announce the keynote speaker for The Next Evolution presented by Events.com, being held June 28-29 in Chicago, will be Travis Snyder, the Founder and CEO of The Color Run.

Roller Coaster Race will be adding several new locations this year to expand its series to six events. Each location will feature a 10K race, 5K run/walk, and its original-concept event, Roller Coaster Ride. 
 
The Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon (STWM), held October 19th, 2014 and hosted by Canada Running Series, has achieved Silver Level Certification from the Council for Responsible Sport.
 
Twin Cities In Motion (TCM), the nonprofit organization that hosts the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon and an array of Twin Cities-based running events for adults and children, added Corey Walther to its Board of Directors earlier this year and reappointed three directors to second terms. 
 
RaceHQ™, a first-of-its-kind cloud-based event planning and purchasing tool for participatory events, announced today the release of its MarketHub feature leveraging the buying power of thousands of races on behalf of race directors.

The following news outlets have cited Running USA:

Running USA recently released its latest survey and report. The national organization analyzes trends in the sport every two years. The report is primarily aimed at race directors and sponsors, sporting-goods manufacturers and such to help them keep an eye on what's happening in the marketplace.

A 2013 Running USA survey found the half-marathon distance to be the favorite race distance of regular runners, as well as the fastest-growing race distance in terms of runner numbers.

According to Running USA and the organization's annual race reports, the half marathon has consistently been the fastest growing standard race distance in the U.S. since 2006.
