April 4: Join us in nationwide solidarity
Join us in Solidarity as we stand to protect the American Dream. Rally and March on the Alfred Zampa Memorial Bridge. Monday April 4, 2011. March begins at 11:45 and ends at 1:00 pm. (ALFRED ZAMPA MEMORIAL BRIDGE, aka CARQUINEZ BRIDGE). We will be marching from both the Solano County and Contra Costa County sides, Rally in Middle of Bridge.

From Contra Costa side: the staging area for the event will be the Pedestrian Walkway entrance which is on San Pablo Ave. in crockett. It is at the end of the parking lot at the Dead Fish Restaurant at 20050 San Pablo Ave. Do not park in the restaurant parking lot, you will be towed. There is parking in the local neighborhood, carpool if you can. In addition to parking near the walkway we will have shuttle buses running from the Contra Costa Labor Council at 1333 Pine St., in Martinez. We will be shuttling from the Labor Council at 10:00 am
From Napa/Solano side: the staging area for the event will be the Pedestrian Walkway entrance which is located on Maritime Academy Dr., just north of the entrance to the Maritime Academy. Do not park inside the Maritime Academy grounds. While there is public parking in the neighborhood we will be providing shuttle buses from the Carpenters Union Hall at 404 Nebraska St in Vallejo and any overflow will be directed to the Vallejo Moose Hall in the 3400 block. We will be shuttling at 10am
We will have everyone at the walkway on both sides to begin the event at 11:45 am. This is a rain or shine event, we must stand up.
