HOUSTON (Jan. 20, 2011) - As the official and exclusive automotive sponsor of the 2011 Chevron Houston Marathon and Aramco Houston Half Marathon, Nissan will offer event participants and running enthusiasts a unique experience during race weekend, Jan. 28-30. In addition to the opportunity to meet Nissan 'Master' and Aramco Houston Half Marathon record holder, Ryan Hall, consumers will have the opportunity to win a brand new 100% electric Nissan LEAF. These activities, and more, will take place at the Nissan booth at the 2011 Memorial Hermann Sports Medicine Institute EXPO at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

Ryan Hall is the fastest American marathoner on the road today with a personal best of 2:06:17 (London, 2008). The LEAF will be on display at the Nissan booth at the EXPO on Friday, Jan. 28. through Sunday, Jan. 30. Consumers will have the opportunity to qualify to win a new LEAF and have their photo taken for a personal cover of Runner's World Magazine.
