Defending Champs Florida Men, Oregon Women Open Indoor Season as Number One

NEW ORLEANS – The USTFCCCA released national team computer rankings for the NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field preseason. Defending national champions - Florida's men and Oregon's women - top the field early on. Preseason rankings are calculated using performance data from previous seasons and coaches and SIDs report those eligible for the rankings.

A full report will be posted on USTFCCCA.org Friday. Texas A&M announced on Thursday that defending national 200-meter champion Curtis Mitchell has forgone his remaining eligibility and has decided to turn professional in the sport. Calculated rankings reflect the announcement.
