Rochelle Kanuho And Brittni Hutton Join ADP


(Colorado Springs, CO) - Recent college graduates Rochelle Kanuho (Northern Arizona University) and Brittni Hutton (Oakland University) have both committed in joining the American Distance Project to train in Colorado Springs, CO.


Kanuho, an Arizona native, competed four years for the Lumberjacks and earned NCAA Second-Team All-American honors with her 15th place finish in the 10,000-meters at the 2013 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. She was a 2012 NCAA Cross Country Championships individual qualifier after finishing 9th in the NCAA Mountain Region Championships. Kanuho boasts personal bests of 9:30.66 for 3,000-meters, 16:12.62 for 5,000-meters and 34:20.69 for 10k. As a fifteen year-old Navajo Native American, Kanuho represented Wings of America as a junior at the 2006 US Cross Country Championships where she finished 35th.


Hutton, a native of Michigan, graduated from Oakland University in Rochester Hills, MI, in May with USTFCCCA All-Academic honors. Hutton, a communications major, was the 2012 Summit League conference cross country champion and holds personal bests of 9:51.57 for 3,000-meters, 16:40.13 for 5,000-meters and 34:56.38 for 10k. She joins fellow Summit league men's cross country champion, Mike Krsnak of South Dakota State University, on the ADP roster.


Both Kanuho and Sutton will compete for adidas/Boulder Running Company, with Kanuho making the move to Colorado immediately and Hutton arriving in September.

Dey To Compete At GNC Liberty Mile; Elliott Takes On Falmouth Mile


(Colorado Springs, CO) - Dey Dey (adidas/BRC) travels to Pittsburgh, PA, to compete in Friday evening's GNC Liberty Mile road race. Dey will be facing a deep field that includes Jordan McNamara, Miles Batty and Daniel Clark and will be competing for $10,000 in prize money with $4,000 going to the champion.


Matt Elliott (Brooks) returns to the States after a successful European campaign and will compete in Saturday's Falmouth Mile. After posting a personal best and World Championships B standard of 3:36.61, Elliott is looking to lower his track mile best of 3:57.16 in a fast field that includes defending champion David Torrence and event record holder Jordan McNamara among others. The competitors will all be chasing the track record of 3:54.89, which comes with a $1,500 bonus on top of the $2,500 overall purse.
