Candace Hill Biography
Background
Do superheroes exist? Maybe not in the way we’ve grown accustomed to in mass media, but 16 year old sprinter, Candace Hill, can accomplish things that your average human being could never imagine…things we would all do well to aspire toward. Not only has the young Georgia native earned the moniker of “fastest high school girl ever,” but she consistently earns straight A’s and a 4.6 GPA on her high school report card, as well as a steady spot on the principal’s honor roll and a class schedule full of Advanced Placement courses.
She is the epitome of a Sound Mind in a Sound Body.
After only 4 years of running, she’s accomplished something most veteran sprinters only dream of: a finishing time of 10.98 seconds in the 100-Meter Dash. Already known as “the fastest girl in Georgia,” her light-speed finish put her on the map by simultaneously setting an American junior record, a World Youth record, and a National high school record. To put it simply: if she had competed in the 2008 Olympic Games, a 10.98 would have had her on the podium with a silver medal around her neck.
She’s 16 years old. She’s already #10 in the world. We couldn’t be more excited to meet her, and we can’t wait to see where she’ll run next.
