Stags first, Athenas second at NCAA D-III Cross Country Regionals
The CMS cross country teams finished first and second at the NCAA West Regional on Saturday, Nov. 14 and both teams qualified for the NCAA Championships. Running in front of a crowd of alumni, friends and family across the street at the Pomona Wash in Claremont, the Stags, the region's top ranked team, beat #3 Pomona-Pitzer 51-62 in the men's race while the Athenas, ranked first in the region, finished second to third ranked Willamette 64-79 in the women's race.
