James Clark Wyatt

WYATT, James Clark – of San Mateo, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, January 5, 2014 at 86 years of age. Jim was happily married to Trudy Wyatt for 52 years. Special friend to Peggy Baikie of San Mateo. Loving father to Jim A. Wyatt of Belmont, Linda Navarro of San Bruno and Sue Escobar of San Jose. Cherished father-in-law to Claudia Wyatt and Erich Escobar. Adored by his five grandchildren: Louie Vargas, Kaity and Jamie Navarro, Brian and Nina Wyatt. Loving uncle to Judy Tiscornia Pettee of Millbrae and her husband Steve and son Kevin Willsher.
Jim was born in San Francisco where he met Trudy at City College of San Francisco in 1947. They married in 1951 and moved to Daly City where he began raising his family. In 1975, he moved to his current residence in San Mateo. Jim worked in education at Lincoln High School, City College of San Francisco, Canada College, Skyline College and retired as Vice Chancellor of the San Mateo Community College District. He also spent 58 wonderful years working for the San Francisco 49'ers in Game Day Operations. The family wishes to thank all his medical caregivers at Kaiser Hospital, Assista and Pathways Hospice. Family and friends may visit on Thursday, January 9 at Sneider & Sullivan & O'Connell, 977 S El Camino Real, San Mateo from 3 P.M. to 9 P.M. The Rosary will begin at 7 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 10 at St. Gregory's Church, 28th Avenue and Hacienda in San Mateo followed by the burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jim's honor to the charity of your choice.
