Chico State Men & Angelo State Women Top Week Two National Team Rankings for Division II Outdoor T&F
March 25, 2014
NEW ORLEANS – Chico State’s men and Angelo State’s women claimed the top spots in the Week 2 edition of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II National Team Computer Rankings released Tuesday.
The National Team Computer Rankings for Division II are a reflection of performances that have been recorded only during the 2014 outdoor track & field season. While some teams have been competing outdoors since February and many more opened up their spring campaigns this past weekend, still others have yet to compete outside in 2014.

Division II Rankings Home
Defending men’s national outdoor team champion and recent indoor team champion Saint Augustine’s moved up to No. 2 after opening up its season this past weekend.
National Athletes of the Week Jeron Robinson of Texas A&M-Kingsville and Ada Udaya of New Haven moved their respective teams up into the top 10. Robinson’s men improved to No. 3, while Udaya’s women entered the rankings at No. 8.
Defending women’s outdoor national team champion Academy of Art moved up three spots to No. 7.
Unlike Division I and Division III, the Division II USTFCCCA National Team Computer Rankings are not influenced by preseason data. Week one rankings should not be referred to as preseason rankings, but rather the first in a series of regular season rankings issued each week from this point on.
The purpose and methodology of the rankings is to create an index that showcases the teams that have the best potential of achieving the top spots in the national team race. Rankings points do not equate with NCAA Championships team points. A full description of the rankings can be found here.
