INDIANAPOLIS -- Chaunte Lowe (Riverside, California) has been named the 2014 USATF Outdoor Champion in the women’s high jump, following a ruling by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) that imposed a 21-month sanction against Inika McPherson (Houston, Texas) and disqualified her results.
Lowe, a two-time Olympian, initially finished as the runner-up in Sacramento, clearing 1.94m/6-4.25. The American record holder, Lowe is now a six-time USATF outdoor champion.
