Gray & Kanuho Contribute to Team USA at Bupa Great Edinburgh Cross Country

Gray & Kanuho Contribute to Team USA at Bupa Great Edinburgh Cross Country


(Colorado Springs, CO) - Joe Gray (Scott Sports) and Rochelle Kanuho (adidas/BRC) both scored points for Team USA's men's and women's squads at last Saturday's Bupa Great Edinburgh Cross Country race in Scotland.


Gray finished 8th overall in the three-team international competition helping USA to silver as Chris Derrick took the title and 2013 champion Bobby Mack was 4th. Kanuho finished 24th overall, finishing as Team USA's final scorer, contributing to their bronze.

Five From ADP Set to Compete in US Half Marathon Championships


(Colorado Springs, CO) - Mattie Suver and Wendy Thomas (adidas/BRC) lead a contingent of American Distance Project athletes competing at the US Half Marathon Championships in Houston on Sunday. Suver, who finished 3rd in the 2013 US Road Running Circuit, took 5th in the 2013 edition of the half marathon championshisp posting a personal best of 1:11:56, while Thomas was 10th at 1:13.17.


Recent Team USA member and US National Club Cross Country champion Joe Gray (Scott Sports) will be looking to improve on his best of 65:19, while 2013 IAAF World Championships Marathon competitor Daniel Tapia (Mizuno) looks to improve from 64:23. Brandon Birdsong (adidas/BRC) will be making his half marathon debut.


The championships, hosted by 2016 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials candidate, the Chevron Houston Marathon, has on offer over $83,000 in prize money with $12,000 going to the winner with additional time bonuses available.
