Twin brother of Alvin Harrison, Calvin was considered the bigger star in high school, running 45.07 and winning the U.S. Junior title and prep Athlete of the Year honors...troubled by family problems, the twins have lived on their own since their junior year in high school, floating back and forth between Orlando, Florida, and Salinas, California...dropped out of track after high school, but in the fall of 1995 returned to train in Salinas, with different coaches...the twins lived for a time in a Ford Mustang -- Alvin had the back seat...he worked at a hazardous waste processing business that was soon shut down for serious violations. The Harrisons authored a book about their lives together in 2000 entitled Go to Your Destiny. The book is published by Hyperion.

2000: Ran third leg on Olympic gold-winning 4x400 relay team ...fifth at Olympic Trials (44.90); selected for 4x400 relay team...with brother Alvin, found great success at Team USA Training Camp in Australia, training under Bubba Thornton ... twice was second to Alvin in meets in Australia ... ranked 5th in U.S...best of 44.64 (PR) at Brisbane 2000 International Sept. 8.
1999: No recorded performances.
1998: Injured at USA Outdoor Champs...best of 44.68.
1997: 5th in heats at USA Outdoor Champs...best of 45.59.
1996: 5th in semifinals, Olympic Trials...ranked #8 in U.S. by T&FN...best of 44.70.
1995: Did not compete.
1994: Best of 46.26.
1993: 1st USA Juniors...1st, Pan American Juniors...best of 45.07.
