A couple of days before a local race (Wharf to Wharf in Santa Cruz) I got a message from my agent that I got into Stockholm Diamond League race and suddenly my master plan for racing in Europe went out the door. I was going to fly to Europe a about week before racing a 5k to get adjusted to the time change, get in a good workout or a shorter race.
