Twenty California high schools are represented on the 2011 United States World Championship Track Team. Canyon High School, Canyon Country is the only high school that has more than one representative with Lauren Fleshman and Alysia Montano.
Ten California Universities are represented. California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo has the most representatives with four members: Stephanie Brown-Trafton, who last competed for Cal Poly in 2003, Women's Discus; Benjamin Bruce 2005, Men's 3,000m SC; Sharon Day 2008, Women's Heptathlon; and Maggie Vessey 2005, Women's 800m.
Two California Community Colleges are represented.
