Darius Carbin (Cardinal Track Club; Mt. Pleasant HS, San Jose) breaks Jeff Rogers' CCS high jump record

Darius Carbin (Cardinal T.C.; Mt. Pleasant HS, San  Jose 2016) set a new CCS high jump record of 7-3 1/4 at the USA Junior Championships in Clovis on Sunday, June 26, 2016.

The old CCS record of 7-3 was set by Jeff Rogers (Overfelt, San Jose) at the CCS Championships in 1985.  The record lasted 31 years!  Rogers graduated from UC Berkeley and now coaches track and cross country at St. Mary's College High School in Berkeley.
