TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Sun Devil cross country program ran away with another victory within the state of Arizona, as the men finished with the top spot at the Dave Murray Invitational on Friday, Sept. 16.

Four of his teammates -- John Reniewicki, Cody Brazeal, Brandon Boys and Simon Paige -- helped the Devils take the top spot, finishing all in the top-six.
On the women's side, Chelsey Albertson also turned in another great performance with her second-straight, second-place performance with a time of 13:47.0.
As a team, the women placed second behind Arizona by just five points. Senior Kaitlin Kaluzny also ran another great race, finishing in the top-five for the Sun Devils. Rookie Megan Reniewicki opened up her collegiate career in style with a top-10 finish at 14:50.4. Freshman Courtney Lewis and redshirt freshman Anna Pruter wrapped up the scoring for the ASU women, going 7th and 8th, respectively.
The course for the Dave Murray Invite is the same that will be run at the Pac-12 Championship in late October, while the both the men and women's courses will be an extra lap overall.
The Sun Devils will have an extra week again to prepare for the next invitational, as they will run at the NCAA West Preview in Sacramento, Calif. on Saturday, October 1. Once again, the team will get a first-look at a course that will be a part of their championship season.
