Air Force Track and Field Alumni Set For Olympic Trials
Three pole vaulters, one thrower and one middle distance runner will compete at the Trials.

EUGENE, Ore. -- Five graduates of the Air Force track and field program will compete at the USA Track and Field Olympic Trials, which begin this afternoon (July 1) at Historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. The Falcons will be represented by three pole vaulters -- Dylan Bell (Class of 2016), Joey Uhle (Class of 2015) and Cale Simmons (Class of 2013; Rocklin HS, CA 2009), as well as 2012 graduate Paige Blackburn (discus throw) and 2014 graduate Annette Eichenberger-Melcher (800-meter run).
Keith Conning: I ran cross country and track at the U.S. Air Force Academy from 1960 to 1961.
