Gerry Lindgren This was one of my most frustrating moments. I was running extremely well that indoor season. I wanted to get to the AAU Nationals just to have a go at the world mark. But my school said NO! I even tried to sneak out to the Pullman airport to fly out secretly, but I was"caught." The AAU-NCAA feud was still going on.......

John Medved I think that Tracy ran even faster in '71 or '73?

Keith Conning There were three indoor meets in the San Francisco Bay Area during 1967: Examiner Games at the Cow Palace in Daly City, Athens Invitational in Oakland, and the AAU National Championships in Oakland. I attended all three. Now we have none!
