LOS ANGELES – UCLA director of track and field Mike Maynard announced the 2015 schedule on Friday. The 2015 slate is highlighted by four meets at Drake Stadium, including the 2015 Pac-12 Championships.

"We are pleased with our 2015 season schedule,” Maynard said. “Our indoor schedule offers each of our student-athletes great opportunities to qualify for the postseason on championship level facilities. Our outdoor schedule will afford us four home competitions.”

The indoor season begins once again at the NAU Invitational, starting on January 24. Familiar trips to Albuquerque, N.M. and Seattle, Wash., prepare the Bruins for the NCAA Championships that will be held on March 13-14 at the Randal Tyson Center in Fayetteville, Ark.

Drake Stadium will be a common place for track and field fans in 2015 and will feature some of the top talent in the nation.

“We have the opener against Pac-12 opponent Washington State, the new Legends of Track and Field Invitational that will feature top California college and high school talent, and the fixture to our home schedule the Rafer/ JJK invitational,” Maynard explained. “The Rafer/ JJK Invitational will feature Big 12 powerhouse Oklahoma, along with USAF. Our home schedule will conclude with the Pac-12 Championships at Drake Stadium May 16 and 17th."

The Washington State dual once again opens the outdoor season for UCLA and will also feature the likes of Northridge and Long Beach. The teams will square off on Saturday, March 21. After a weekend in Tempe, Ariz., for the Pac-12/Big Ten Challenge, UCLA will return home on Saturday, April 4 and host the Legends of Track and Field Invitational.

The next weekend on April 11, UCLA remains at home to host Oklahoma and the Air Force Academy in the Rafer/JJK Invitational.

The Pac-12 Championships will start with the multi-events that will take place on Saturday, May 9 through Sunday, May 10. The championship returns on Saturday, May 16 and concludes on Sunday, May 17.

The NCAA West Regional will be held in Austin, Texas on May 28-30 and the NCAA Championships will once again take place in Eugene, Ore., on Wednesday, June 10 through Sunday, June 13.
