Volunteer coach and Cal alum Alysia Montano won the 600 meters at the 106th
Millrose Games Saturday night in NY in 1:23.59 to break the American record of
1:26.56 previously held by Delisa Walton-Floyd. Her time just missed the world
record of 1:23.44 held by Russian Olga Koltyarova set in 2004.
