Mt. SAC Relays
Bernie Montoya (Cibola, Yuma, AZ) won the boy's 1600 in 4:07.72. Cibola commonly refers to one of the legendary Seven Cities of Gold.
Blake Haney (Stockdale, Bakersfield) placed second in 4:10.48. Nick Hartle (Centennial, Corona) was third in 4:13.51. Joel Gonzalez (Adolfo Camarillo) was fourth in 4:13.72. Connor Clark (San Francisco University) was fifth in 4:13.89. Brad Littooy (Scripps Ranch, San Diego) was sixth in 4:14.86. Sam Cartwright (Chadwick, Palos Verdes Peninsula) was seventh in 4:15.66.
Danny Martinez (St. John Bosco, Bellflower) won the 3200 in 9:02.20. Charles Marquardt (Loyola, Los Angeles) placed second in 9:09.82. Johnny Lawson (Sir Francis Drake, San Anselmo) was third in 9:12.23. Cameron Miller (Stockdale, Bakersfield) was fourth in 9:13.98. Adam Lucero (Adolfo Camarillo) was fifth in 9:14.49. Bryan Guijarro (William Pete Knight, Palmdale) was sixth in 9:18.65.
Loyola (Los Angeles) won the 4x800 in 7:44.35. San Ramon Valley (San Ramon) placed second in 7:50.28. Redondo Union (Redondo Beach) was third in 7:51.09. Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Peninsula) was fourth in 7:55.99. Golden Valley (Santa Clarita) was fifth in 7:58.39. Harvard Westlake (North Hollywood) was sixth in 7:58.68.
Mariel Mendoza (J.W. North, Riverside) won the 1600 in 4:51.98. Megan Huebner (La Quinta) placed second in 4:52.37. Erica Birt (North Summit, Coalville, Utah) was third in 4:52.64. Ashley Helbig (Great Oak, Temecula) was fourth in 4:58.50. Sydney Badger (Centennial, Corona) fifth in 4:58.98. Julia Yang (Westview, San Diego) was sixth in 5:00.12. Monica Hutson (Cibola, Arizona) was seventh in 5:00.43. Jena Tong (Mira Costa, Manhattan Beach) was eighth in 5:01.27.
Kelli Sugimoto (Mira Costa, Manhattan Beach) won the 3200 in 10:54.92. Kyra Burke (Inglemoor, Kenmore, Washington) placed second in 10:55.21.
Harvard Westlake won the 4x800 in 9:08.69. Long Beach Poly placed second in 9:29.46. Torrey Pines (San Diego) was third in 9:31.70.
