Junior Nikki Hiltz (Aptos), third in the 2011 State Meet 1600 in 4:43.43, won the 1600 in 4:49.21, the fastest time in the nation. Sophomore Anna Maxwell (San Lorenzo Valley, Felton), twenty-fourth at the Foot Locker Nationals, placed second in 4:50.65, the third fastest in the nation and the second fastest in California.
Maxwell won the 800 in 2:12.93 (US#7, CA#2). Hiltz placed second in 2:14.27 (US#14, CA#5).
The San Lorenzo Valley 4x400 team of Jennifer Housek, Claire MacMillan, Anna Maxwell, and Abby Sherman won in 4:08.01. The Aptos team of Jackie Stanger, Clare Peabody, Nikki Hiltz, and Courtney Destaillats placed second in 4:08.90.
