Mother shooting son: a crime no one saw coming

Adam was a typical, active teenager. He was on the track and cross-country teams at school, loved rock climbing and impressed friends with his skills at Guitar Hero and Dance Dance Revolution.

He played the saxophone in band and even had a good grasp of Japanese, a class he took from a teacher who doubled as one of his track coaches.
