Ceremony today will mourn slain Las Lomas track star

Jim Williams expects up to 100 people from Walnut Creek to caravan to Fair Oaks today, all of them friends of his 16-year-old son Adam, a popular, 6-foot-3-inch track star at Las Lomas High School who studied Japanese and wanted to be an architect.
At the service today, Adam will be remembered for his accomplishments as a track and field and cross-country star, a saxophone player in the school band and a student of Japanese.
