Bill had the opportunity last month to tour the USS San Francisco SSN-711 nuclear submarine. He loved that the boat was decked out in Giants colors (Orange and Black), the same day the Giants were playing the Chicago Cubs at AT&T ballpark. Bill thanked many of the crew for their military service. Bill enjoyed people especially, patriots who wore the uniform and veterans. He was very active helping veterans with the Valor Games West throwing events at Coast Guard Island Alameda and at the College of San Mateo. Veterans Day was everyday of the year for Bill, not just today. RIP Bill.

Todd Shissler Trash talking with each other during the Giants / Cubs series was actually a special experience for me. He came up with some of the best "one liners" ever.

Bill at San Francisco City Hall on September 19, 2016 with Maltese Consulate General Louis Vella. Bill informed Louis that Jennifer Pace, Malta, (MLT) threw the javelin at the LA Olympics in 1984 for MLT and was one of his first Weight City athletes. Bill was planning on setting up a future Weight City throwing summit and clinic on the island of Malta, an archipelago in the central Mediterranean between Sicily and the North African coast. Bill was in his element in the Mayor's Office. RIP Bill.
