The Ashland Parks & Recreation Commission (APRC) will present the 39th Annual 4th of July Run on Saturday, July 4, 2015. This event is a fundraiser for the Ashland and Phoenix High School cross country teams. Two routes are offered: a 10K run (6.2-mile) and the traditional 2-mile run/walk. Both races start at 7:45 a.m. and are chip-timed. The Start/Finish line is near the Ashland Library, 410 Siskiyou Blvd, corner of 3rd St and Gresham St. The routes are scenic and on closed roadways. A section of the 10K route is along the tree-lined Bear Creek Greenway.

Following the race, an awards ceremony will take place at noon at the Ashland Public Library, near the Start/Finish line. All age group winners will receive a gift; all finishers will receive a ribbon at the Finish Line! (Must be present to win.)

Registration is now OPEN! If you would like a t-shirt this year, the cost is only $10/shirt.  Shirts must be ordered by June 12, 2015.
