Long Jump star Howe gears-up for Torino

Andrew Howe of Italy will be a top contender for the
Long Jump title in Torino.
Italian Long Jump star Andrew Howe is headed for a three-weeks training stint in Santo Domingo in his bid to defend his gold at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Torino from March 6-8.

Andrew Howe (born 12 May 1985) is an Italian athlete who specializes in the long jump and sprint. He won this event as well as the 200 metres at the 2004 World Junior Championships.
Howe was born in Los Angeles, United States, to René Felton, an American hurdler who is a former U.S. Jr. College National Record in the 100 meter hurdles and an avid participant of long distance amateur sports such as the Ironman triathlon.
Andrew moved to Rieti, Italy, in 1992 together with his mother, after she married to an Italian man, Ugo Besozzi.
