2015-16
Enjoyed one of the best years ever by a Wildcat distance runner as a junior…Opened the XC season with a convincing win at the Regional Preview (Ash Creek Invitational)…Placed third overall at the Stanford Invitational behind Stanford All-Americans Sean McGorty and Grant Fisher…The San Francisco State Invitational brought another individual title…Two weeks became the eighth straight Chico State runner to win the CCAA individual crown while leading the Wildcats to the program’s 14th straight team title…Finished third behind two Alaska Anchorage Athletes at the NCAA West Regionals…Concluded the fall with a 10th place finish at the NCAA Championships, earning his first All-America honor…Carried the momentum from the fall into the spring track & field season…Narrowly missed breaking the 29:00 barrier at the Stanford Invitational 10k with a time of 29:02 – the second-fastest posted by a D-II athlete on the year and the third fastest in Wildcat history…Recorded the second fastest 5k time (13:56) at the Mt SAC Invitational…At the CCAA Championships Reyes became the 15th straight Wildcat to win the 5000m event, running within ten seconds of the meet record…Posted arguably his best meet of the season at the NCAA Championships, winning two All-America honors (and racking up the most team points by a single runner since Scott Bauhs in 2007) by placing second in the 10k (29:33) and fourth in the 5k (14:14.86)…Two-time CCAA All-Academic award winner…Named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team.

2014-2015
Redshirted both seasons after transferring from American River Community College…Finished third overall at Charles Bowles Invitational, recording an 8k time of 23:54…Finished eighth at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational, clocking in at 23:56…Took second at UC Davis’ Doc Adams Invitational with time of 24:10…On the track, opened season with 1500-meter PR of 3:53 at the Wildcat Invitational…Won the Johnny Mathis Invitational 5k with a time of 14:17…Raced to a 14:08 at the Stanford Invitational 5k…Posted a 10k time of 29:41 at the Mt SAC Invitational…Concluded season with a 14:12 5k effort while pacing teammate Nick Grubiss to an NCAA qualifying performance at the West Coast Last Chance Invitational.

Pre-Chico Days
Perhaps the most decorated Community College athlete to ever join the Wildcat program…Had already posted times at American River CC that rank among the best all-time at Chico State…As a frosh broke the school record in the 10k with a time of 30:30 while taking second at the State Community College Championships…His sophomore Cross Country season brought even more success with an impressive 24:18 run at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational 8k…Despite a nasty fall, recovered to finish fourth in the State Championships…Continued to shine on the track, reducing his PR’s substantially (14:27 in the 5k and 29:52 in the 10k)…Capped his illustrious JC career with runner-up finishes in the 5k and 10k at the State Community College Championships.
