CIF OFFERING FREE LEADERSHIP TRAINING CLASSES
The CIF, in partnership with the NIAAA, has announced that it will host free leadership classes (LTI 501 and 502) on Mon., June 18 at the State office in Sacramento. This is a great opportunity for new ADs to learn basic fundamentals of athletic program management. For registration information, click HERE.

UCSF CARDIAC PROGRAM FOR STUDENT-ATHLETES
The NCS office has been informed that UCSF offers a cardiac check-up for student-athletes in the Bay Area. Termed "PlaySafe", the program was initiated by UCSF sports medicine experts after seeing significant media coverage of serious injuries and deaths of young athletes, including one at a San Francisco high school, which could have been prevented with appropriate medical care.
