Returns as a redshirt senior on the track for the outdoor season as a former Pac-10 cross country scorer and a 1,500 meter finalist. Four-year veteran in cross country and indoor track. In 2007, logged personal bests in the outdoor 800 and 1,500 meters, indoor/outdoor mile and outdoor 3,000 meters.


2007-08: Set a season best in the 1,500 meters with his third-place showing at the Pepsi Team Invite (3:51.23). Also had two appearances in the 800. Indoors, ran three mile races, with a best time of 4:09.73 at the MPSF Championships. Ran three cross country events for the Ducks in the first half of the season. Led squad in the Beaver Classic (third, 24:12). Season Bests: Outdoors - 800 Meters - 1:54.24, Oregon Preview, Eugene, Ore. (3/22/08); 1,500 Meters - 3:51.23, Pepsi Team Invite, Eugene, Ore. (4/5/08). Indoors - Mile - 4:09.73, Mountain Pacific Championships, Seattle (3/1/08).


2006-07: Pac-10 finalist in the 1,500 meters. On the track, scored personal bests indoors and outdoors in the middle distances. Advanced to the 1,500 meter final in Pac-10 Championships debut in mid-May. Indoors, scored in the Mountain Pacific Championships mile thanks to his 2.71-second personal best (seventh, 4:05.67). Season Bests: Outdoors - 800 Meters - 1:52.79 (PR), Pepsi Team Invitational, Eugene, Ore. (4/7/07); 1,500 Meters - 3:46.88 (PR), Road to Eugene 08, Eugene, Ore. (5/26/07). Indoors - Mile - 4:05.67 (PR), Mountain Pacific Championships, Seattle, Wash. (2/24/07).


2005-06: Did not race outdoors. Competed once indoors and led UO’s entries in the MPSF Championships mile (eighth, 4:10.06). In cross country, ran in team’s top six in all five races and scored in three contests. Won season opener, the Pier Park Preview (20:29). Placed third for Ducks in next contest, the Willamette Invitational (17th, 24:20), and ranked third on team in his next two races - the Pre-NCAA Invitational and Pac-10 Championships. Season Best: Indoors - Mile - 4:10.06, Mountain Pacific Champs, Seattle, Wash. (2/25/06).


2004-05: USA Junior Championships Competitor in the 1,500 meters. Redshirted indoor and outdoor seasons and ran U.S. Junior Championships 1,500 meters (11th). Was less than a second off his prep mile best in the Oregon Twilight (sixth, 4:11.41) - the season best by a Duck freshman. In fall, was one of two Ducks to run top-seven in all five cross country races. Season Bests: Outdoors - Mile - 4:11.41, Oregon Twilight, Eugene, Ore. (5/7/05). Indoors - Mile - 4:13.48, Washington Invitational, Seattle, Wash. (1/29/05).


Prep: As a senior in 2004, owned some of West Coast’s top marks in the 800 meters (1:53.21) and 1,600 meters (4:10.7), and scored in the 1,600 meters at state (eighth, 4:21.39) and NCS Meet of Champions (first, 4:14.16). Was a state cross country qualifier as a senior and junior. North Coast Section 1,600 meter champ and Redwood Empire record holder in same event. Four-year letterwinner in track and cross country.

High School: A 2004 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in McLean, Va....a six-time all-state performer...led his squad to a team championship at the 2002 Virginia High School Cross Country State Championship...a member of Thomas Jefferson's distance medley relay team that earned outdoor All-American honors in 2004...also a member of the 4 x mile relay team that earned indoor All-American honors during the 2002-2003 season.
