Jennifer Tavé began running in the ninth grade in the desert sands of Dubai. The thrill of seeing the sun rise while being in touch with nature and other fast people is what drove and still drives her to run, now in her second season of collegiate cross country as a junior at Scripps College. She graduated from the American School of Paris in 2008 and is from Saint Germain en Laye, France. Her parents, Julie and Alain Tavé, still live in Saint Germain.

Although she has not won any titles in cross country, she has had the opportunity to run races in France, Dubai, Cairo, Athenas and Bruxels. She speaks French, English, decent Spanish and can read and write Arabic. Over in California, she plans to major in human biology and is excited to be part of the CMS team.
