Teams are declaring for the NCAA Championships today and tomorrow. Those accepted into the NCAA’s preliminary rounds will be announced Thursday by 1 p.m., eastern.

The NCAA Championships’ preliminary rounds will be held May 26-28 in Eugene, Ore. (west site) and Bloomington, Ind. (east site). National rankings next week will include only those declared and accepted into the championships.

Attached regional team index is final for the 2011 outdoor season.

After their respective conference championships, Florida's men and Texas A&M's women regained their top positions in the national rankings, a place held by both in the preseason.

Florida's men finished second to Arkansas at the SEC Championships while Texas A&M captured their fourth-straight women's team title in the Big 12 last weekend. Iowa's men moved to the top 25 for the first time this season as they won their first Big Ten Conference crown since 1967. Florida's women moved to the top 25 for the first time this season as they finished second to former-No. 1, now-No. 2 LSU.
