La Verne men No. 3 and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women No. 4 in NCAA DIII Rankings

La Verne men moved up four places from No. 7 to No. 3. Redlands men moved up three places from No. 12 to No. 9. Cal Lutheran men stayed at No. 17. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men moved down three spots from No. 20 to No. 23.

Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women moved down one place from No. 3 to No. 4. Occidental women moved up 22 places from No. 46 to No. 24.

Indoor Champs UW Oshkosh Takes Over Women’s Top Spot in D-III

McMurry Men Still No. 1 for fifth time

NEW ORLEANS – The fifth week of national team computer rankings of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2011 NCAA Division III outdoor track & field season were released on Wednesday. The women of UW Oshkosh took the reins as the nation’s top-ranked team for the first time this outdoor season. UW Oshkosh finished second in last year’s NCAA Outdoor Championships and are the reigning NCAA indoor team champions. McMurry remains No. 1 in the men’s national team rankings for the fifth-straight week.
