Mr. Morris has to go done as one of the best if not the best high hurdler in NCS history.
He has run under 14.00 seconds 6 times this year 2014 and twice last year 2013 for a total of 9 times.
state winner in 2013 and state runnerup in 2014.
The great Milton Turner did not do this, Robert Gaines or others. In fact, I cant remember Dedy Cooper running under 14.00 flat 9 times, and this is electronic to boot. His times, 13.68, 13.73, 13.74(2), 13.91,13.92,13.93,13.96(2).

I have Cooper 6 times his senior yr and Gaines 6 times his senior year, all hand timed.

that's pretty fast company! Looks like he knocks some hurdlers out of all time NCS.

Morris is faster than Kelch and Don Ward from St. Mary's in the 110hh. they did not post under 14.0 that many times.

The Game Stands Tall Movie out Aug. 22nd. How about an article on all those Spartans during the streak that ran track?
The Callens, Jones-Drew, D.J. Williams.
The newbees- Ward, Carrie, Morris.
Not many schools have a lot of football players running track now days.
Seems the Spartans get the best out of their student atheletes.
