Former Mt. SAC Relays Director passes away
USA Track & Field remembers the life of the former Mt. SAC Relays Director, Dan Shrum, who passed away Friday, May 30.
Shrum headed the event from 1988-1996 and was a man very well-regarded in the sport with many long lasting track & field relationships strengthened over those nine years. He last visited the event in 2013. Despite this loss in the track & field family, he will forever be a part of the Mt. SAC Relays history and tradition.
He is survived by a son, daughter and grandchildren.
