"Amin Abraham Paul Nikfar (Persian: امین آبراهام پل نیکفر , born 2 January 1981 in San Jose, United States) is an Iranian shot putter.
Amin finished 1st (Gold) in the 2004 Asian Indoor Championships. He finished tenth at the 2005 Asian Championships. He also competed at the 2008 Olympic Games without reaching the final.
His personal best throw is 19.94 metres (65-5), achieved in June 2008 in Flagstaff. This is the current national record."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amin_Nikfar
'Amin Nikfar made the Iran Olympic team after he won the shot put at the Flagstaff Invitational on June 26 with a personal-best throw of 65-4 (19.94m). The throw earned Nikfar an Olympic `B' qualifying mark for the upcoming Olympics in Beijing, China, and reset his Iranian national record in the event.
While a student-athlete for the Bears, Nikfar finished 21st at the 2003 NCAA Outdoor Championships with a mark of 57-01.50 mark (17.41m). His toss of 61-7.75 at the 2003 NCAA West Regional inked his name onto Cal's all-time list with the fifth-best mark all-time. In 2004, he would improve his collegiate-best mark to 61-11.00, which still stands fifth on Cal's all-time list. He also finished 21st at the 2004 NCAA Championships (58-2.5).
Nikfar, currently a volunteer coach for the Northern Arizona University track and field team, won the shot put competition in Tehran, Iran, in 2004 for the Iranian National team at the first Asian Indoor Track & Field Championships with a throw of 18.33-meters. He also won the shot put competition at the 2003 Iranian National Championships."

Birthdate:

THIS YEAR: Redshirt senior Brysun Stately is a four-time All-American who bettered her school record in the pole vault last season, and looks to raise the bar even higher in her final season.
2009: Bettered her school record in the pole vault of 13-7 1/4 (4.15m) set in 2006 three times during the season. First she cleared 13-7 3/4 (4.16m) at the Trojan Invitational on March 21, then 13-9 1/4 (4.20m) to take second at the Cal-Nevada Championships on March 28 and finally cleared 13-11 1/4 (4.25m) on April 18 at the Mt. SAC Relays. No heighted at the Pac-10 Championships in the pole vault then tied for 10th at the West Regional with a vault of 13-1 3/4 (4.01m). She then earned All-American honors in the pole vault with a ninth-place finish at the NCAA Championships as one of the top eight U.S.-born vaulters. She cleared 13-9 1/4 (4.20m).
2008: Had to sit out the season of competition for USC after transfering back from Nebraska. Qualified for the Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore., but no heighted in the competition on July 3 and did not advance to the finals.
2007: Left her mark on the Nebraska program, just as she had done at USC as a freshman, by setting the Cornhusker school record in the pole vault with a clearance of 14-3 1/4 (4.35m) at the Kansas Relays on April 21. That mark was the best by a female collegian entering the NCAA Championships. At the NCAA Championships, Stately placed 3rd at 13-7 1/2 to earn All-America honors. Cleared 13-11 1/4 to take second in the pole vault at the NCAA Midwest Regional. Earned NCAA Indoor All-America honors in the pole vault by placing tied for seventh at a height of 13-5 1/4.
2006: Set the USC school record in the pole vault by clearing 13-7 1/4 (4.15m) to place fourth at the Pac-10 Championships on May 14. She followed that up with an eighth place finish at the NCAA West Regional with a clearance of 12-11 3/4 and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships. Tied for sixth to earn her first All-America selection in the pole vault with a height of 13-3 1/2...she was the lone freshman out of the 16 finalists.
HIGH SCHOOL: Stately experienced an outstanding prep career at Cordova and Bellabista (sic) Highs that featured the 2005 California state pole vault title and High School All-America selection. Cleared 13-4 as a senior to win the state crown in her first appearance at the California state meet...her previous best height had been 11-0 entering her senior season. Followed her state titel with a third-place finish (12-4 3/4) at the 2005 U.S. Junior Championships in Carson, Calif. Ranked tied for fourth nationally among all high school girls in 2005 with a clearance of 13-6, still a top 10 mark on the U.S. all-time high school charts. Selected to the 2005 USA Today All-USA High School Track and Field Team. Won the 2005 Golden West Invitational pole vault title (13-2). Attended Bella Vista High in Fair Oaks, Calif. prior to her senior year.
PERSONAL: Brysun was born on Nov. 22, 1986...Enjoys going snowboarding, loves dogs and likes being funny...Her favorite movies are Wet Hot American Summer and Dumb and Dumber...Her major at USC is Sociology with a minor in Advertising.
CAREER BESTS: Pole Vault -- 14-3 1/4; Pole Vault (Indoor) -- 13-8 1/2"
