Hall behind effort to bring race back to area
The Woodlands appears to be getting its own marathon again, and no less of a luminary than American half-marathon record holder Ryan Hall (Big Bear Lake, Stanford) will be part of the announcement at 1:30 p.m. today at Central Park in Market Street as organizers reveal the date and other details.

Keith Conning: In 1986 I attended the U.S. Olympic Festival Half Marathon at The Woodlands, a suburb of Houston. They have one of the top high school cross country teams in the nation.
