The top 30 teams in both the men’s and women’s USTFCCCA Division I Cross Country National Rankings remained the same this week as several teams were idle or running “B” squads over the weekend in preparation for this weekend’s Pre-National meet at Indiana State.

In all, 20 of the top 30 teams in both the men’s and women’s national rankings will be in action at the Pre-National event in either the “blue”, “white” or open races. Stanford (men) and Washington (women) remain the respective top ranked squads in the USTFCCCA poll.

Other top action this weekend can be seen in Fayetteville as Arkansas hosts the Chile Pepper XC Festival this weekend with several top nationally and regionally ranked teams set to compete. No. 3 Oklahoma State and No. 23 Oklahoma will compete alongside host Arkansas; ranked No. 25 this week, in the men’s race while on the women’s side No. 12 Baylor, No. 20 Texas Tech, No. 22 BYU, and No. 26 SMU will all compete in Fayetteville.

The No. 16 ranked Penn State women will host the Penn State National as well this weekend. No. 3 West Virginia will be in Happy Valley competing in the women’s race as will No. 23 Michigan.

The men’s and women’s USTFCCCA Division I Cross Country National Rankings will resume its normal schedule following this weekend’s action.
