Last month, the USA Track and Field Outdoor Championships were held in California to select athletes for the IAAF World Championships scheduled in London in August. Less than a week later, the USA Swimming Championship was held to select swimmers for the World Championships in Budapest in August. As usual, The Post covered swimming extensively while the track meet was totally ignored.
